It depends …
Possible — up to a quarter of the training period if it serves the training goal.
Parts of vocational training can take place abroad if this serves the training goal (§ 2 (3) BBiG). In total they should not exceed a quarter of the training period. The stay abroad then counts as part of the training: your contract continues, as do pay and insurance, and the time is credited. You have no right to it — the company must agree. It is funded e.g. through Erasmus+, which subsidises travel, accommodation and a language course; the chambers or the vocational school often handle the organisation.
What the law says

- Agree with the company which content from the training plan you will learn there.
- Plan ahead: Erasmus+ applications often take several months.
- Document the stay in your training log like any other training time.
