What goes into the training log
The training log (Ausbildungsnachweis) records, at least in keywords, what you did during your training. Every sheet carries your name, the training year and the period. The content has three blocks:
- Work in the company: what you worked on, with hours.
- Instruction and training sessions: what you were shown or taught.
- Vocational school: the topics covered in class.
Which template does my IHK use?
There is not one form per chamber but three families. Most IHKs hand out the DIHK standard unchanged. The IHKs in Cologne and Frankfurt am Main use a revised version with a field for the training department and two signatures, the IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria its own header without an hours column. Whether your chamber requires something else is stated on its website or in your training contract.
