Break
MyWorkLog deducts breaks according to your settings — not a fixed number in the code. The statutory minimum break is built in and speaks up when it is missing.
Clock out
The day is measured against your daily target, and the difference moves into your flextime account. Overtime and undertime show up right away — rounded, if your employer rounds.
Report book
The week's entries become your training record — a PDF on the official form of your chamber. What you noted each day is already in it.

How trainers work with MyWorkLogRead in the IHK export
The IHK’s digital report book ends on 31 December 2026. Its PDF export can be taken over directly — weeks, days, hours and sign-off status — and carried on in the same report book.

Data belongs to the user
Your entries stay in the browser until you switch on cloud sync yourself. No account needed, no advertising pixels, no profiling. The anonymous usage statistics are cookie-free and publicly viewable.
craft
Right beats fast
Every calculation in the flextime account is covered by tests. Where a number is uncertain, the app says so — instead of filling in the most plausible one.

No paywall
Free and without sign-up. Tools for an apprenticeship should not depend on what somebody can pay.

Everything comes together on your device.

Two devices talk to each other directly over WebRTC, end-to-end encrypted. The pairing code travels by QR or clipboard — no server sees your entries, and without comparing the check digits the channel stays closed.

Only what you type into the AI studio goes through our proxy to the language model — and, if you switch on the "time tracking" source, the notes of the chosen week. The proxy holds the key, not your browser. Switched off, the generator runs locally.

Annoyance at clumsy time tracking at work turned into a prototype: one page that captures a working day in two taps.
Launch
MyWorkLog goes live as a progressive web app — offline-first, no account, no server in the data path.
Analytics
Rule-based analyses, heatmaps and forecasts arrive — and the report book learns the official forms of the chambers.
Today
More than 600 apprentices track their hours with MyWorkLog. Since then it has gained NFC clock-in, device sync over WebRTC and the import bridge from other tools.
